NFT platform attract $23 million in investment
Kryptoise, an alternative non-token (NFT) game platform, has completed the $23 million series A investment round, The Block reported on Sunday.
The investment was led by Andresen Horowitz (a16z), and Mattel, Dapper Labs, Dapper & Associates, Coin Fund and Animoka Brands also participated.
Kryptoise plans to invest the funds it has secured in building NFT-based game universes.
The Kryptoise platform will allow users to interact with collectible pranks and play-to-un (P2E) games, The Block said.
Kryptoise also decided to work with Toy Manufacturing Upmartel to develop digital toys.
The two companies will provide Mattel brand toys through Flow, an NFT-specific blockchain operated by Dapper Labs.
The Kryptoise platform is set to be released later this summer; Kryptoise plans to also feature three signature characters in its original series.
